In addition to the narrow protective devices in the Termitrab complete product range from Phoenix Contact which are just 3.5 mm wide, versions with an overall width of 6mm featuring mechanical signaling are also available.

Remote signalling sets, which are available as an option, monitor up to 40 protection modules. A photoelectric barrier is used for monitoring.

If a surge protective device fails as a result of an overload, the integrated disconnect device closes the remote tunnel at the corresponding protective device.

The photoelectric barrier for remote signalling is interrupted. The error status is forwarded to subsequent systems via the receiver module and a floating relay contact.

The advantage of visual monitoring is the easy installation. It does not involve elaborate programming or additional wiring of the protective devices.
