Oil & Gas Middle East Awards winners revealed

The winners of the Oil&Gas Middle East and Refining & Petrochemical Middle East Awards 2015 were announced at a sparking industry evening in Abu Dhabi last night.

Over 200 industry professionals from the region’s biggest and best NOCs and leading oilfield technology and service providers, attended the gala event which took place at the Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche on Wednesday, October 7th.

The event was aimed at recognising and celebrating the outstanding achievements made within the upstream and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry in the Middle East.

With the introduction of several brand new categories for the first time in years, the awards enjoyed a record number of nominations, featuring initiatives and candidates from some of the biggest names in the industry including Saudi Aramco, ADMA-OPCO, Kuwait Oil Company, Al Hosn Gas, and others.

In no particular order, the full list of winners and finalists that were highly commended by the judges is as follows:

• HSE Product/Application of the Year: Saudi Aramco: e-Factory, IT Future Centre
Highly Commended: Kuwait Oil Company - Health Critical Job Categorisation

• HSE Initiative of the Year: AlManssori Specialised Engineering - Health Monitoring Management System
Highly Commended: Live Field Monitoring – Al Hosn Gas 

• CSR Initiative of the Year: Aries Oil Field Services - Earth Quake Relief in Nepal
Highly Commended: Saudi Aramco’s Corporate Wellness Programme

• Localisation Strategy of the Year: Oman Refinery and Petrochemical Industries Company - Student Internship Training

• Training Initiative/Programme of the Year: Value Engineering Centre LLC - Hire Develop Deploy Program
Highly Commended: Kuwait National Petroleum Company - Training & Career Development Department

• Operational Strategy of the Year: TASNEE Petrochemicals - Manufacturing Transformation Program
Highly Commended: Petro Rabigh - Large Scale Transformation Roadmap

• Technical Innovation of the Year: ScanTech Offshore - HeaterSentry
Highly Commended: Al Hosn Gas - HSEIA Lifecycle Tracking System: ‘Keeping it Evergreen’

• Enhanced Oil Recovery Project of the Year: Saudi Aramco - Uthmaniyah CO2-EOR and CCS Project
