21 Dr Alaa Abdulla Nassif
Executive president,
Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY)

Dr Alaa Nassif is currently holding the position of executive president for RCJY. He is responsible for the overall supervision of the RCJY industrial city management and executing the Royal Commission’s vision and mission.

He says the commission success in building an integrated petrochemicals hub in Kingdom can be seen in the presence of about 300 petrochemical companies in the industrial city. Dr. Alaa has been vested with a very important job of inviting converters into the kingdom and being part of the mission of diversifying the economy.

Before joining RC, he was a deputy dean for quality and development and assistant professor of architecture at the College of Environmental Design Ministry of Higher Education, at King Abdul Aziz University.

He also joined the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs of Jeddah Municipality as a GM of studies and project supervision. Dr Nassif obtained his PhD from the University of Salford in Manchester, and MS from the University of Miami.
